Tooth Extraction in Bangalore

Simple and surgical extractions. When a tooth can't be saved, we remove it safely with care and sterile protocols.

What Is Tooth Extraction?

Tooth extraction is the removal of a tooth from its socket. We perform simple extractions for teeth that are visible and easily accessible, and surgical extractions for impacted, broken, or deeply rooted teeth that require incisions or sectioning.

Extraction is considered when a tooth cannot be saved by RCT, fillings, or other treatment—due to severe decay, trauma, infection, periodontal disease, or orthodontic needs.

When Is Extraction Needed?

  • Severe decay beyond repair
  • Advanced gum disease with tooth mobility
  • Trauma or fracture
  • Impacted or problematic wisdom teeth
  • Overcrowding for orthodontics
  • Infected tooth that cannot be treated with RCT
  • Baby teeth that don't fall out naturally

The Extraction Process

  1. Examination & X-Ray – Assessment of tooth, bone, and surrounding structures. Treatment plan and alternatives discussed.
  2. Anaesthesia – Local anaesthesia. Sedation available for anxious patients or complex cases.
  3. Extraction – Simple: elevate and remove. Surgical: incision, bone removal if needed, sectioning, extraction, socket debridement, sutures.
  4. Aftercare – Gauze, instructions, prescriptions. Discussion of replacement options (implant, bridge, denture) if applicable.
